Video 002 | And the winner is..!

Bean! Put me down!

[It's just audio at first but soon enough whoever it is that is holding the 'gear figures out how to turn the video on, revealing a certain prince being bear-hugged by his newly transformed Snorlax.]

Are you filming??

[Noctis, with his face pressed against Bean's cheek, glares at whoever is holding the 'gear. Said someone let's out a snickering sound before the 'gear wobbles and the one responsible for the video appears.

Shepard--his Lycanroc.

She looks quite pleased with herself as Noct struggles against Bean's hold before finally giving in and just sort of slumping against the delighted marshmallow.]

Yeah, yeah, I'm proud of us. And good job evolving, Bean.

[He shifts a bit, frowning suddenly as he looks over at the 'gear because there's something important that he really needs to confirm.]

Is Bean really going to eat 900lbs of food a day?

Oh, hey, you've got a Lycanroc, too.

[ She is completely, totally, intentionally ignoring the fact that his Munchlax has actually evolved. It's an interesting development, especially since she had to be the unfortunate pal to give him the information of how much they ate. She's not sure if it's literal, but actually getting a good look at a Snorlax (even on video)...

Well, the only thing she can really say is good luck to that.

Yeah, I saw the kind you have originally. I have the sandy colored one? Didn't even know it could look like that. Partner traded me his Rockruff since he said it reminded him of me.

Espurr do that, too. Mine evolved and has a little fur beret. Guess it suits me.

[ Look at all this effort she is putting into dancing around this subject.

As his pokemon benchpresses him.

I actually liked the one you've got, oddly enough. But I guess this one does suit me better.

My Meowstic is definitely cuter than my partner's, though. Not because I'm biased! ;)

[ She thought she could play this game forever, yet she's been caught. Alas. ]

I thought I was being subtle. But, to the situation at hand... wow, that's bigger than I thought! Uh, I'm honestly not sure. But Chris is a big guy and naturally he eats more than I do. I would assume pokemon bodies would work the same way, but I also can't spit fire or shoot lasers from my eyes so who knows?

No answers yet, huh?

Okay, okay. I'll respond more seriously!

I think that might be your best bet. I'm sure people will help you, but that's more food than I can even picture. I guess what I'd be more concerned about is what to do while traveling? You can't possibly carry around enough to satisfy it (or maybe you can, I know people here can be pretty interesting). Maybe someone might know where the most berry trees are? We spot them every now and then, but there have to be areas with clusters of them.

Though considering some can stay "boxed" or in their balls, it makes you wonder if that kind of stops them from being hungry? It's obviously not the ideal fix, but if keeping your friend in their pokeball for a day could help, it might be worth it.

Either way, I'll be sure to tip well! ;)

They definitely exist, but I haven't studied places I haven't been yet well enough to pinpoint them for you.

I agree. My pokemon and my partner's are all out and about right now. As I understand it, a lot of people who have been here longer than you and I settle down just so they can have a place to let their pokemon wander.

Well, tell me where you're working and I'll tip you specifically well, then! At least be more subtle in your angling, Noctis.

I'll do the same. If Bean's going to keep those gains, she'll have to eat what she needs, after all.

Whoa, there. Have you ever bought a house? They don't come cheap. Especially not beachfront property.

[ S a m e. Although she's been through the brunt of it already; this is her deserved vacation. ]

Ha ha, well every little bit counts when you're buying a "some place to call home" near the beach. ;)

Yeah, we've been doing the same but it's still not quite enough. Which isn't so much a think realistically thing or anything so much as man the beachfront property here must get trashed in the winter... thing.

Might wanna try renting to own, but Chris and I discussed this after hearing eventually people settle in after a few years, but people do seem to come and go. Taking us out of the factor it's more like what about our friends? Just taking into account people we're close to, I don't know if we should prepare to live with them or something? We figure we'll settle in the middle of nowhere and build ourselves a place whenever we feel comfortable with it.

So, get yourself some blue prints and grab a friend or five and maybe do the same?

(That's an offer to help you with your cute little dream, by the way. Just a weird roundabout way that isn't easy to phrase, I guess.)

I mean I'm not saying I want to live with you guys or anything (you wouldn't be able to stand us for long, especially when we try to get you to do squat thrusts for two hours), but having a place to crash between wandering until we're really ready wouldn't be bad.

Hard to know who to ask, too. I mean, this is 100% whim but honestly, having something physical to do beyond traveling would be great for both of us.

Guess it would be smart to buy land, then. I mean it's worth reading up on, but if you have land you can grow your own trees. Plus, I haven't heard of anyone having a berry orchard as a business of their own.

I'm coming up with all these long-term plans on the fly. Maybe I should reel it in before I end up committing to something weird? That being said, Bewear isn't a joke when it comes to food, but it's less of a... snore-lax and will go wander and get berries for everyone herself.
