The world had narrowed down to the immediate fight, the simple image of her smug, shitty little smile as she tried to take Danny, his Pokemon and partner, while telling him to lie down and accept it.

Nothing else mattered.

And despite her level disadvantage- well, levels don't have a say on how effect status moves were. They either hit or they didn't.
