The Rocket saw Anders approaching and suddenly remembered seeing him kicking Team Skull thugs in a ballroom dress. He really should've seen this coming. Thankfully he's quick enough to catch the hands holding the bowl before it comes down on his head, trying to hold him back.

The second attack made Joseph groan and cover his ears. Stop that!! But he saw Anders charge at Walter and immediately turned, abandoning the fight with Flop. Sure, humans were too easy a target for him to enjoy outright attacking...but when his trainer was in danger, he didn't mind dirtying his claws.
