I just realized it how easy it is to just go from town to town, but I'd like to know this place the best I can. [There's a pause as if he's about to cut the feed before he stops.] Ah! And they don't have to be just places near me, they can be in other places too! I'll keep them in mind.

It's not that obvious a thought. Sometimes they're really communicative, and sometimes... well, we just hear about problems once we've already dealt with them.

Local or foreign criminal gangs trying to take over or destroy the region. Again.

Once in a while. They attack large groups in hopes of stealing many Pokémon at once, so we can at least try to overwhelm them with numbers.

That makes sense. Strategy can only go so far if you're outnumbered by enough people, right?

Especially when the available space is also restricted. It keeps their would-be victims contained, but it also stops them from escaping easily if things go south, as they usually do.
