Cameras are ... special. You can't get a great shot with a really cheap one, but you don't necessarily need a top-of-the-line model to get a great shot. Having a good camera helps with getting good pictures though, there's no denying that.

Truly epic shots are the product of great lighting, solid angles, and a whole bunch of other things. The camera's only one part of the picture.
