Al's nose wrinkles up, but rather than shoot off a retort he just rolls his eyes and storms off to the entrance of the Center. They both know where they're going, and he's not about to wait up for Envy. They'd probably get into a fist fight if they walked together out to Route 1 anyway.

Once Envy catches up, he'll find Al waiting cross-armed off to the side of the main road, just far enough out of town that they shouldn't raise too much of a fuss. A few youngsters are hovering nearby and whispering to each other excitedly, and point at Envy when he appears--Al had warned them about the high-leveled battle, and they decided to stick around and watch rather than clear out entirely.
