[If ever there was a way to start a video, it would be on two Pokemon. One is a growlithe and the other a liepard, who are clearly guarding a batch of eggs. Before it switches over to Lydia who looks so damn done with all of this.]

Anyone want an egg. They're either purrloin from the liepard, growlithe from the growlithe, or houndour from either one.

I guess Pokemon decided to get busy during prom, too, which isn't the best of things to have happen after that whole damn mess. At this point I'd rather just take donations, trades, or just take the fucking things.

[List of eggs is over here.]

Whether it is through battle or diplomacy or... food? One by one, the newly sprouted giant pokemon are subdued. And once the artefacts are taken from them, they return to their normal sizes, though they all seem rather dazed by the experience. The castle itself still stands, though heavy damage has been done to the rooms the battles took place in. Turns out that the combination of a room and a giant pokemon is not a great one.

Before anyone can really start putting things back together or even figure out what to do with these strange artefacts, a noise can be heard outside and strange shapes start appearing against the darkened sky. Luckily before anyone might get the idea that these figures could be a second wave of attackers, they come close enough to be recognised, and soon a familiar Dragonite lands on the courtyard, Elite Four Champion Lance sliding off its back. Behind him, several other people land as well, quickly spreading out to start attending to any people or pokemon who might be hurt.

Lance, meanwhile, starts a resolute trek inside. Any characters who might try and speak to him will get a quick apology for them not arriving sooner and a quick instruction not to hand back those artefacts to those two under any circumstances, but for the most part, Lance is forging on straight ahead. When he gets to the doors of the ballroom, he pushes them open wide, immediately pointing a finger at the hosts of this year's prom, his voice the angry boom worthy of a champion.

"Sordward, Shielbert, on charges of destruction of property, illegal smuggling and endangering the lives of people and pokemon alike, I hereby place you under arrest."

Congratulations, you survived Prom 2020!

It is several days after the end of yet another eventful prom that a special message is posted on the network by none other than E4 champion Lance. And he is not alone; accompanying him are the hosts of this year's prom, each looking properly cowed and demure. Or as cowed and demure as two flashy guys with unreasonable hair are ever going to look.

Lance, for his part, gives them a long glance, adds a sigh, then directs his attention towards the camera.

"It is to my regret that an enjoyable party was turned into chaos yet again. Despite every reassurance by our voluntary hosts for the year--" another long glance, this is you he is talking about, twin-boys "--I fear that your party was--yet again--the scene of battle. Our own team of medical staff have been keeping the Pokémon that were affected by the artefacts under observation, and we can now report that they appear in fine health. We'll be returning them to their natural homes as soon as we can.

Speaking of the castle, unfortunately, some of the structure was damaged during the... events that transpired. Naturally, our hosts immediately volunteered to take on the responsibility of financing the repairs."

Lance says volunteered but his eyes make it clear it was more voluntold.

"In addition, they also wish to express their deepest apologies for disrupting what should've been a calm and enjoyable weekend. They were very foolish--" any budding protest is silenced by a stern look from Lance "--very foolish indeed to smuggle those artefacts into our region. In order to prevent future repeats, we of the Elite Four have taken those artefacts into our possession and we'll be studying them thoroughly. Of course, our prom hosts understand that no words can truly convey the level of guilt they feel, which is why they hope you will accept a few gifts on their behalf to make up for the trouble they caused you."

Lance's mouth says gifts, but the set of his eyebrows makes it clear it is more of an idiot-tax.

"As such, each person that visited this year's prom, whether they were caught up in the battles or not, will be given a multi-use TM of their choice, as well as their pick between an Ability candy or a held item of their choice or an egg from one of the local Galar species, again of their choice. We will be distributing lists to all, so please let us know your choices as soon as possible so we can put this event behind us."

And also so that Lance can kick these two out of his region, so Arceus help him.
