Oh, so from what I've heard it's something to do with the Sevii Islands. The different climate out there changes some Pokemon to evolve differently, or to just be different, like the Vulpixes.

I dunno what the Marowak variant is like; I've only ever seen a Cubone. And I only realised it happened when I evolved Holokai out there. I thought he was gonna be the same as An Tintreach.
