It was thanks to the Pokemon he'd come to care for that Vanitas had learned the majority of the feelings he had. That he'd learned to accept them and allowed himself to actually feel them. Veritas was just the newest addition to the same family he'd developed for himself and he wouldn't trade them for the world.
