Some Pokemon are of the same species but they have different types and appearances from each other. They're apparently from another place entirely. I want to know all the differences and HOW and WHY they happen.

The Vulpix you're going to get is a variation from the original. This one is an Ice-type while the normal species is a Fire-type.

I want to understand what happens in their makeup that causes it. There are so many like that!
