Honestly, Armin feels food in general in this world tastes ridiculously good (probably has something to do with having fresh ingredients and meat that isn't old and chewy and no yeasting everything) so he doesn't feel the need for something that hurts, makes his entire face turn red and makes his eyes water like crazy.
