And mine ended in high school. So that sounds about right to me. I like the idea anyway.

In my experience it's both. It can push you to worry too much, but then again it can push you into liking a genre of books better. ....yes that might be because of not so great reasons, but you still find new books.

Then again I think I spend a lot of time trying to find positive things out of terrible experiences.
