[There are a few things which can successfully wake up Venkman even when he's dead asleep. The word "Slimer" is one of them.
He frowns in his half-asleep state and groans, throwing an arm up over his face.]

[He opens one eye and glares blearily at Ray. He didn't really catch all of what Ray said, but he got the gist.]
