[The screen shows a young girl, with short, white hair and a pink bow. She grins nervously.]

Hey, can anyone hear me on this thing? Am I using this right? Um, hi, I'm Webby! And I kind of need to get a hold of Unc... [she gives pause, as if doubting herself] Mr. Scrooge McDuck? Because I think I got kidnapped and sent to an alternate universe - like there's some lady called "mom" and she pushed me out of her house and now I'm kind of confused where I am right now.

Also... [Webby pauses, scrunching up her face in confusion. It seems like she's noticed something in the reflection of the screen.] Wait, where'd my beak and feathers go?!

[Action - Right outside Newbark Town]

[Normally being whisked away to a mysterious land and strange people would be right up Webby's alley. And it still is, but she's still reeling a little over the confrontation with Magica. Everything that happened just a few minutes ago makes her feel a little drained - and kind of worried. She hasn't seen Huey, Dewey, and Louie around, and they just made up with Scrooge. They were a whole family again. And Webby... really doesn't want to get taken away from that so quickly.

Especially after Lena... 

She shakes her head. An adventure is an adventure, and she's gotta stay positive! She's sure she'll run into the boys sooner or later. After doing a bit of wandering, she hears a rustle in the grass. And sticking its head out of the grass is a tiny white bunny with a bandage on its nose.]

Hi there, I'm Webby! 

[The bunny tries to duck back down into the grass, before Webby waves at it.]

Aww don't be scared! It's okay! You've got a bandage on your nose... did you get hurt?

[Lena had been getting used to life here. She got to pit her weird monsters against other peoples' weird monsters for money, and had the freedom to go wherever she wanted. Like, real freedom. There was no dark, threatening whispers at her ear or a shadow looming over her telling her where to go and what to do. She could move from town to town at her own pace, talk to whoever she wanted, and had money to spend and enough to eat without having to steal. It was nice.

It was almost enough to stop her from having nightmares every night. Nightmares of dying, of Magica moving her body like a marionette. Nightmares of what Webby might say, knowing Lena used her and betrayed her.

But that was just a nightmare, until now. Webby had been back home in Duckburg, until now. Now, now... now, when she hears that voice, it's like a pit of dread opens up in her gut, and she can only stare in shocked silence for a few moments before forcing one word out:]

... Webby?

[The face on the screen, like Webby's, lacks a beak or feathers, so it may seem unfamiliar at first. But that voice, and the dyed-pink fringe in otherwise bleached-blonde hair are very, very familiar.]

Yeah, you're in another universe so...have fun with that?

It's not so bad but you're basically stuck here till whoever's in charge sends you back.

[He settles back in his chair. The Elgyem in his lap looks up from a Rubik's cube and tilts her head, curious.]

Non-humans get turned human when they shown up here. No one knows how or why. Also, before you ask- "human" is what you are right now.

Also, the lady calls everyone her kid, and says she's everyone's mom. Don't worry too much about it. [He sounds... oddly fond.]

Yeah, this world just changes everyone it brings here to look like the locals. We're not sure why or even how. My current theory is really powerful pokemon. ..oh those are the strange animals here.

And you can just ignore the "mom" lady, she does that to pretty much everyone who shows up here.

[And then the comment on beaks and her name hits.]

...Wait, you're Webby? Do you know someone named Lena?

Oh it does seem like a kidnapping, doesn't it? But it's really not like that... It's hard to explain, but I'm sure whatever brings us here doesn't mean us any harm. And this is a very nice planet.

And we're all human here! Isn't it exciting?

[Jane's expression is kind, gentle, sympathetic - she may not 'get it' entirely, but that doesn't mean she can't suppose a complete change in personal species isn't disorientating.]

It's alright - outside of roughing it while traveling, you're totally safe here. Secondly, yes, you did get transported to another universe. This is another world with small and large creatures called Pokemon and you've been given a role of either Trainer or Breeder, someone who cares for Pokemon either way. Your Pokemon journey starts now! It's like a freeform adventure.
