I don't know. This place is too....stable to be run by pure randomness anyway. Maybe the people chosen and sent home by it, are random but the rest of it. It has too many internal rules that it does follow.

There's no such thing as random. I'm not talking about fate or any of that bullshit, I mean...as ecosystems and biomes and planets and everything else, as they evolve they evolve natural rules. That doesn't mean the freaky godlike being that messes with us actually made this world or controls how it works. Just us yeeting in and out.

We're dealing with some kind of alien being that we know nothing about and don't have any way to learn about. There are literally limitless factor combinations that could be the right one. Or ones. Maybe it's a shifting algorithm and the requirements for a Friday in spring are completely different than a Tuesday in winter.

There are no parameters, there is no starting equation, there's nothing.

I know! There's nothing to even start with! That doesn't mean though, that there's not information out there. Or maybe we'll find something out in the future.

It's not totally out of the realm of possibilities. I mean half of what I do here is research on all the weird things I can find.
