Oh- I dunno, I guess it's just something that kinda came to me when I was little? I liked catching things like bugs in butterfly nets, and that escalated into trying to catch small animals- releasing them again right after I caught them- and building really simple traps for that- and then I moved on to designs that'd work with people.

[Pretty big jump from catching insects to human beings, but sure.
