Uh hey. It looks like I'm gonna be here for a while, so does anyone know where I can get my hands on a van? I'm gonna need somewhere to live once the weather gets better. I can't just crash on people's couches forever.

I guess...if it needs to be extra portable, see if you can find a nice pop-up tent? A lot of the caves here use ladders, and it's making it really hard to find detours between cities... [she laments.]

I mean they seeeeem to have those here instead of animals, but I never see anything that could be...'them' in the grocery stores, but they still have meat, so I don't know WHAT'S going on, and some of them are things like gears, or swords,
[As she rambles, the pokemon she had out and playing come over to investigate the New guy. Red Buster in particular starts getting REALLY close, because that's what they do.

Oh right! So this goes back... more than twenty years ago, actually. I'd played a concert out in Beach City and the only person who actually showed up was Rose. I gave her a free CD and I went to get her a band tee shirt, only she kinda disappeared while my back was turned, but I talked to an owl and hopped a fence and I found her again.
We were supposed to hit Empire City as the next stop on the tour, but I had a fight with my manager and kicked him out of my van and then I turned right around and drove back to Beach City so I could be with her.
We were! We even had a kid together, Steven. He's really great. Takes after Rose in a lot of ways, me in a couple others... honestly, he's got the best parts of both of us.
[Greg's so proud of him.]
Rose... didn't end up getting to see him back home.
[That... might be said a little bit more quietly and wistfully.]
