Steve only has two usable Pokémon in this fight. Turns out bringing along his weaker Pokémon with the intent to take it easy wasn't such a great idea. Still, his Miltank and Donphan are powerful, and he's not about to lose face in front of the other prom goers.

"Bessie, Ellie! Use Rollout. I know you can take that thing down."

Although... wow. They really are dwarfed by that thing. Privately, he's relieved he's not the only one fighting it.
