[There's audible frustration as you hear swearing and the pokegear clatter to the ground. (Bear with her, this is still new for her as her world used magic devices as their communication tech.) Once it's picked up and she dusts it off, she lets out a huff of embarrassment before turning the camera feature towards the Fletchling on her shoulder, and then to her own face, pointed ears poking out of her hair.]
As you must now already all be aware, I've little knowledge of this place! A curse it must be to be found in this place without your powers, and then find you've become a mortal like all the natives, how insulting!
[A brief pause before shaking her head, stopping herself before she starts cursing the ancients of Tharcia and going on a tirade about how Rivaersa unfairly cursed her, stripping her of her Phoenix powers.]
But no matter, 'tis unimportant. What draws my attention is that all here seem to be gifted in Beastmastery... how curious, that's a rare gift in my home, a gift by bloodline and tribe in fact. Are all in this place of the same ancestors or family lines? Or do these creatures have a friendlier disposition than most beasts? This one on my shoulder here, whom I've decided to name 'Nova', calls herself a "Fletchling" and says she's going to be my companion as I "train" her to become stronger. Is this what those beasts here are all called, Fletchling?
AND WHAT IS WITH THIS AWFUL NOISE PLAYING NON-STOP?

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of magic does exist in your world? The world I come from doesn't really have any sort of magic [Except titan magic but that is. Ugh.] so this topic is really fascinating to me.

I do not mind the question, although I cannot imagine a world without magic, as my own world's very core is magic. We have many kinds of magic, but they can be classified into nine different elements: Light, Shadow, Lightning, Earth, Nature, Wind, Fire, Ice, and Water. As I've been told, the different typings of the creatures here are relatively similar but with double this amount.
The elements can be combined for some powerful effects once one learns the basics of spellcasting and how to focus their spells.
[she pauses briefly to think, then gives a couple nods before continuing with a smile.]
If you've any questions regarding specific elements themselves, do not hesitate to ask, I am more than happy to answer these questions.

Can everybody in your world practise magic? Or is it something that is limited to only certain people?
[That is how things had been in Mr Newt's world.]

Not all, but most are able to. It all depends on how... ahh.. how attuned their life essences are. You see, all in my world are born with a splinter, or fragment, of the planet. It's what gives us life, and what determines our aptitude with magic. Most humans do not possess a large enough fragment, but that's not to say that humans aren't capable of magic. There are many who do, in fact there are great cities devoted to magic with a thriving population of humans in them that practice these arts. All humans once were able to perform magic, but so many have forsaken those ways according to ancient writings, but it is not uncommon for one to still be born possessing a fragment large enough when their parents were not.
But, we beings of magic incarnate all possess the skills. The great ancients of Tharcia were of the strongest magic bearers, they were the first to teach us how to wield these powers in a focused way, how to use them without causing chaos and destruction.
[Seems a little history lesson is thrown in as well there.]

Are there many like you. Beings of magic, that is?
rushes to find notes of Willow's world
Yes! There are many who are, scattered all across Rivaersa. My kind are masters of fire, and there are others who have these and other elements as their natural alignment. My kind are some of the oldest in my world, alongside other great beings like the Dragons and Faerie people.
[should he ask, she will tell him she's a Phoenix. After all, her being one means nothing in this world aside from speaking bird.]
