Video, backdated to the October 7th swarm
[The video is shot from a high angle - the person taking it is clearly several storeys above ground. It pans across a small, open plaza where a number of small pastel Pokemon - predominantly pink and blue, some smaller with conical hat-like protrusions, others slightly larger and giving the impression of wearing oversized witches' hats - mill about. One of the larger ones swats at a discarded bicycle with one pigtail-like growth, sending it skidding a few feet, and then does it again, resembling nothing so much as a toddler mauling a particularly interesting toy.
From across the plaza comes the sound of raised voices, words indistinct from this distance, but tone unmistakably unhappy. The camera pans up and zooms in on two men engaged in some sort of argument as a trio of the little witchlike Pokemon descend on them, pigtail-tentacles flailing.]
This is wild.
[The voice is that of a young woman. She doesn't turn the camera away from the scene as one of the men breaks away, fleeing the pummeling creatures, one of which chases hot on his heels.]
So is this happening everywhere, or is Saffron City just lucky?
