[Seriously, not even the pokemon meant to turn the camera on at this point. But is that going to stop a determined Corvisquire from pecking at the shiny thing on the ground? Namely, its trainer's 'gear?]
[Heck no. Let it peck. It's a crow.]
[This goes on for several seconds too long before a particularly sharp peck jars the camera enough to turn it toward a funky little shelter. Where its rarely-seen trainer is apparently deep in conversation with his Rowlet. A very serious conversation - lots of solemn nodding and so forth. The elf looks... mildly worse for wear. Healing bruises and whatnot - he's replaced one of his false horns, too. Someone got into a scrape.]
[... but Runaan's eyes are what look way different...]
[Even more alarming... he... smiles. That's literally never happened before.]
Whoa, there's a lot of fun stuff in here! [His voice sounds uh. Way more upbeat too. With a lack of any kind of accent.] Did you know any of this?
[Rowlet hoots.]
Yeah like - whoa. Man. Dude. Bruh. [Just spit it out-] He seriously didn't tell you he's married? Duuuuude that's like. Freakin' starter chat 101.
[A very put-upon look from Rowlet. And another series of tired hoots.]
I so don't envy you, bro. It's like. Repression city in here. Total downer, am I right? C'mon, ask some stuff! It's like trivia night with captain angry!
