i call it the 'i'm sorry narration but working a month for a fair tent is Bad' discount-

I believe it may simply be a personal matter to the shopkeeper- the tents seemed rather costly you see, and would have taken a good amount of time to earn the funds for...but between the weather and our own occupations, some sort of housing was vital after all.
