[The video comes on to Scorpia holding a cute yellow Stufful in her arms. In the background are four normal colored Bewears, and a bed piled high with Pokemon eggs. In fact the floor around the bed is piled high too. Scorpia is so happy she's almost glowing.]

Yesterday was really wild, huh? Those Snorunts were super cute! I made a new friend and somebody wants to make dresses for me! I can't wait to see them; they're going to be so adorable I just know it--

[Scorpia blushes a little and hugs the Stufful closer, getting hugged in return.]

Funshine here gives great hugs already! And I guess my Bewears got all excited about the new baby, because they had eggs! I was going to post about them yesterday but I got a little distracted. Anyway, they'll hatch into Stufful like this, but probably pink, and they'll evolve into Bewear, the Hugging Pokemon! Bewear have the strongest arms, so they give the best hugs! Right guys?

[And that's when Scorpia gets hugged by not one, not two, not even three, but four full grown Bewears. She hugs them back, laughing with delight! And somehow manages to twirl around, lifting the Bewears off the ground for a full second. There's a Stufful version of a "wheeeee!!!" from the center of the epic bear hug too.]

So, uh, does anybody want an egg? Stufful are Fighting types, and so's little Lonnie here! And then my Miltank, Gogoat and Ribombee all decided to have eggs too, so I have so many right now!

[The camera briefly shifts to show a Hawlucha, who waves briefly, and then pans to said Miltank, Gogoat and Ribombee, each proudly showing off their own pile of eggs.]

You don't have to give me anything in return, especially all my friends! I just want them to go to good homes, you know?

((OOC: so that's 8 way overpowered Stufful, 1 Cutiefly, 2 Skiddo, 4 Hawlucha, 1 Miltank, and then 1 Swirlix and 1 Phanpy that Scorpia isn't ICly aware of currently up for grabs. I'll try to keep the lists updated as they get claimed!))

"You think so?" Romelle smiled a little. "It's just while I'm here in town, but it's serving my team well, and that's what's important." She stepped back once she was satisfied that the eggs were secure and warm.

"But, yeah... I wish I could understand what they're saying, too, but it's nice when you finally establish that bond where you do understand the ones you have as partners."

"Yeah, having Pokemon friends is great, and I get them a lot better now than before!"

Scorpia thinks for a moment. "It's kinda like Rogelio, except even if I couldn't speak it, I could learn what he was saying. Of course, I knew him for a long while... Maybe we just need more time to understand them!"

"Rogelio... this is a friend of yours from home?" Romelle considered that. She supposed that was similar to a few situations like that back home. There were languages, and, as a chameleon-like race, Alteans were quick to learn how to understand things. It helped them blend in and connect with others better. She didn't have that ability here like back home, but the basics idea was still there.

"Yeah! Lizard people have different throats or something? I never really paid attention to the reason. Anyway, they have so much trouble with standard Etherian so we all learn to understand their language instead. It works!"

Scorpia rubs her hands together. "Hopefully Pokemone-ese is like that, and we just need time."

"I hope so. I know some people have been able to figure it out." Romelle knew that Shinobu was pretty darn good at understanding Pokémon, so she hoped she'd get to that level someday, too. "But that does make sense about different physiology. I've met a lot of different kinds of people back home ever since I left my colony, and there are a so many different body shapes when it comes to races. It can make diplomacy interesting, that's for sure."

Watching Allura and the other Paladins handle all of that and still manage to coordinate everything was really something.

"Thank you for bringing the eggs over, though. I really do appreciate it."

"Huh." Scorpia is quiet for a moment after hearing that. "Is diplomacy hard to learn? I've never tried it."

But she is a Princess who's going to be in charge of a (ruined) Kingdom from now on and the whole conquering the world thing was definitely not the way to go.

"And I'm so glad they're gonna have someone great to raise them!"

Romelle looked a little surprised, but then nodded. Diplomacy wasn't something everyone did. She definitely knew that.

"It can be if you're not used to it," she said. "It requires a lot of patience and learning. But, as long as you're open-minded and willing to listen, it can work."

She knew it wasn't always easy for the Paladins back home to do those things, but they definitely tried their hardest. They just wanted what was best for the universe.

Romelle did blush slightly at the praise and then nodded. "Thank you. I'm excited."

"I was, uh... Well, technically I'm a Princess, with a Kingdom and everything? But when the Horde came in, and my moms died when I was really little, they raised me as a soldier. So now that the Horde is gone and I'm going to be ruling, I totally have no idea how to do that and it's kind of scary, to be honest."

Scorpia looks down and rubs at her neck sheepishly. Oof, it's hard to admit that.

Romelle was interested anyway, but her eyebrows quirked a bit at the word 'princess'... and then the whole, taken over thing... and, wow... that was... that hit home.

"So, you have be the one to rebuild everything now," she said quietly. Yeah. Romelle knew a little about that responsibility from having talked a bit to Allura about those things. "That is a hard thing to do. Do you have any allies, yet? It makes things a bit easier if there are other people out there who can help yours. There's nothing wrong with asking for help, either."

If she'd been raised as a soldier, then Romelle had a feeling that Scorpia might not be the best at asking for help. She could be wrong! But most of the fighters Romelle knew had to overcome the whole 'I can do it on my own' mentality in order to become a team.

"Yeah! The other Princesses are all my friends now and everything, but all of Etheria ended up in pretty bad shape by the time we finally beat Horde Prime and all of his clones and robots and his spaceships and everything. And a lot of the damage is kinda my fault. I mean, even after I left the Horde--Hordak's Horde, long story-- when Horde Prime showed up, he had these things that stick into the back of people's necks and control them. And he got me with one, so that was--"

Scorpia breathes out in a rush of air and sits down, rubbing her neck. "That was really bad. I fought really hard, but I never fully got control of myself back until Entrapta figured out how to deactivate them."

Oh... that sounded like a lot... and kind of familiar. Shiro had been mind-controlled, too. And there was the issue of the creatures from the rift Honerva had used to implant in some of the other Alteans, and control them that way. Romelle sat down next to Scorpia.

"Your friends, though... they know it wasn't your fault... that you were under the control of those devices, right?"
