Why is that every time I think my life can't get any weirder, it does? I need to stop even thinking that I've hit the limit on that. I mean, I finally start getting a handle on the exhausting danger of treasure hunting, and now I look weird and have a cat that likes to fight things!

For the record, that's totally not the appeal of cats. Cats are great because they're indifferent and lazy. Shilling is not either of those things!

But fine, if there's one thing I've learned over the last couple of years, it's how to roll with the craziest punches. So let me introduce myself: I'm Louie Duck, and my cat - I'm sorry, my Alolan Meowth - is Shilling. We're heading out from New Bark Town.

Yeah, comparing it to a video game makes sense. I've been looking over the handbook that was in my backpack, and it does sound pretty game-y.

I've got to admit, I'd have no idea where to start. But I mean, I don't want my family and everyone just thinking I'm missing.

I think the real hurdle is the phones here aren't meant for multidimensional communication, the service is just crap

but who knows, like i said i've been gone a year, maybe someone figured it out

Yeah, I'm sure that's hard to work around, but I've seen some weird inventions back home that make me think it's possible. I don't know a lot about that tech stuff, though.

I'll take thinking hard over working hard. Just, I guess, not thinking hard enough to learn the scientific and technical stuff I'd need to know for this. But I'm going to see if anyone does have that information! I'll let people know if I do.
