Why is that every time I think my life can't get any weirder, it does? I need to stop even thinking that I've hit the limit on that. I mean, I finally start getting a handle on the exhausting danger of treasure hunting, and now I look weird and have a cat that likes to fight things!

For the record, that's totally not the appeal of cats. Cats are great because they're indifferent and lazy. Shilling is not either of those things!

But fine, if there's one thing I've learned over the last couple of years, it's how to roll with the craziest punches. So let me introduce myself: I'm Louie Duck, and my cat - I'm sorry, my Alolan Meowth - is Shilling. We're heading out from New Bark Town.

Yeah, I've heard about that. It's the best thing I've heard since I got here, honestly. Didn't realize it was connected to the level, but with how much Shilling likes to fight, that shouldn't be a big problem.

yeah allium (whos level 61) makes way more than cinna (level 33) but the two combined have made things pretty cozy! hopefully you two can get to a good point soon. battles can get you some change but it's like... snack money.

"Pretty cozy" doesn't sound half bad. Not quite "the lap of luxury," but I'll take it. You have two Meowths? Or can other Pokemon learn that attack?

allium is an espurr, he learned Pay Day through outside means. cinna is a meowth turned persian, though. meowths learn it naturally but there's a few who can pick up the trick through other means like TMS

( and TMs are bullshit, honestly. just... how. )

it'll pay to keep an eye out for TMs in general, since they let pokemon learn new things entirely- some you might not have considered otherwise.

Technical Machines. some are sold in every store, but not every store has the same ones. look kind of like cds almost? oddly enough, your pokemon will know exactly what to do with them if you want to use one.

the only catch is they're a bit pricy and most can only be used once.

If they're expensive, you'd think they'd be a little more efficient.

the reusable ones seem to be more exclusive to events, so far. which is a shame, honestly. but they generally tend to be open for picking and choosing, which is great! i've taught so many pokémon ice punch.

for prom we could get one as a gift- though if that was planned already or to make up for the disaster it became when the local crime ring attacked, i don't know. it looks to be for like, the major things like holidays from what i can tell? i haven't been here long enough to say for sure.
