The effect is near instantaneous. Froppy's eyes glass over before she starts to bawl, huge, comical tears rolling down her face. A second after it starts, Izuku feels something hit him- a wave of sadness, or maybe his own eyes burning like he dunked his head in salt water with them open- before his own eyes just.
