Hands pausing against his chest, Dimitri looks up with a befuddled blink. "But won't it be bad if I do not learn how to do this myself, Grant, or figure out a way?" he says. "What if I decide to go swimming or outdoors on my own? I should learn how to do it by myself first."

After all, if Grant has said it's such an important thing, isn't that what Dimitri should do? It's not as though he can just drag around one of his other boyfriends or regular friends to put sunscreen on his back.
