Shrike might be woefully undereducated, especially for his actual age, but that's not the same as lacking smarts. Not by a long shot. If anything, he's actually a pretty fast learner, given the opportunity.

"I know there's the types, too..." Some of which he still thinks are odd, to say the least. Still, knowing what those stats actually mean is pretty huge and helpful.
