[Teriyaki seems to enjoy this praise, fluffing up his feathers even further and preening a little. (Both literally and figuratively.) Hawks, for his part, can't help but laugh.] Ah, look, the compliment's going to his head.

I don't know when you guys and I will wind up in the same place at the same time, but I'm sure we'll meet in person eventually. Hopefully he's still small and cute when that happens. Apparently some pokémon evolve, and he's gonna be a big, cool eagle when he grows up. [He ruffles Teriyaki's feathers a little.]

If he's still small when we meet up, I'll let you hold him, okay? But even if he's not, I'm sure I'll have some other cute birds you can meet by then.
