He made a little post on the network asking for volunteers, and now, over the course of August, those volunteers might finally get the chance to fulfill their end of the bargain. Some of the drawings might happen outdoors, or in hotel rooms, or rooftops, or anywhere the inspiration strikes him. These sketches may not result in masterpieces, or even finished works, but they certainly will result in pen and ink being put to paper.

Actually, looking at Leonardo's drawing of himself, Doppio isn't... sure what to think. Not because it's bad! Not at all. He still feels awed just to be looking at something genuinely made by Leonardo da Vinci's hand. But the way he looks...
Doppio really is just the most unimpressive guy alive, isn't he?
"Oh yeah, can I have a look at the other one? I'm not taking it, don't worry! I just wanna see how it turned out."

He flips the pages until he gets to the other drawing. The first Doppio looks suspicious and sharp, but the second one looks like he's in the middle of telling a joke. More cheery. He looks as though his body is comprised of noodles, lax and bendy.
"You can keep whichever drawing you think your client would like best. I'm not picky."

It has to be a quick look; Leonardo can't be allowed to see any more than what he has already seen. His gaze flashes green, just briefly, when he looks at one drawing and then the other, and...
... It's... unfortunate. Looking at the first sketch Leonardo showed Doppio, he feared that this land might have found some sort of confounding compromise between the two of them, but that may not be exactly the case. Because the other one IS his Doppio, not only as he has seen him in photographs but somehow even more so. He... wanted this, even if parts of it are, perhaps, too much. It's a sign that Leonardo has followed the instructions, at least, exaggerating different traits in each drawing.
The second one is precisely the opposite, and it's because of that - despite that? - that no one else may be allowed to see it. It is Doppio, and not Diavolo, and yet it makes him feel... exposed. He may very well burn it as soon as Doppio forwards it to him.
He makes sure to nudge Doppio's finger towards the sharper drawing, just to ensure he won't be too disoriented when Diavolo retreats.
Doppio blinks.
"... Um, yeah. This one's fine. I mean, it's good! I'm keeping this one."
Although... Now that he looks at the other one, doesn't it look just a little bit more like himself?... Never mind. It might just be too soft for the Boss's tastes. He should probably go ahead and let instinct steer him on this one.

Another job well done. Well, as close to done as Leonardo gets, at least. At least his customer seems satisfied, and that's enough for him.
