Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd, local cryptid ([personal profile] nastyboy) wrote in [community profile] victory_road 2021-09-02 10:59 pm (UTC)

Name: Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd
Team: Including Gaibhennen the Miltank, Gwin the Altaria, Grindy the Kingler, Dean the Emboar, Hafren the Alolan Marowak, and, by technicality, Gremlin the Rattata
Strategy:
The Cult Priest barely has time to get "unleash our might upon you" out of his mouth before Dimitri just

chucks a rat at his face.

Gremlin is a level 100 Rattata, and fears neither man nor Legendary. He and Dimitri also have a lot of practice doing this sort of shit, worryingly. So, like, enjoy that, buddy! Is this legal by Pokemon battle legalities? Probably not!

But Dimitri uses Fastball Special. In turn, Gremlin uses Thief as he just smacks straight into a human being's face. There is no apology for any bruises. Really, the cultist should be apologizing to Gremlin. You don't even have a wallet on you, buddy? Despicable.

That's all Gremlin is going to be doing, however. At Dimitri's urging, he hops off of the cultist and utilizes Quick Attack to make his way through all the shitshow this is quickly going to be come, so that he can make it to the egg's cradle. Not to abscond with it, but to get ahead of all the mess so that he can be an Egg Defender. THIS RAT KNOWS ICE BEAM AND THUNDER WAVE AND IS NOT AFRAID TO USE EITHER OF THEM.

In the meanwhile, Dimitri hopes to distract the priest by just... unleashing all of his Pokemon. Not at once, exactly... First, he lets out Gwin the Altaria, and just immediately goes into using his Megastone. So now it's an extra fluffy bird, who immediately bursts out with a Sing against his opponent, to put them to sleep.

And THAT'S when Dimitri lets out all of his Pokemon, in a coordinated attack against the Priest's own. Inbetween sing-off sessions against Wigglytuff, Gwin has plenty of other damaging moves he can unleash, too!

Dean is meant to act as part of the tank duo, taking hits so that some of the weaker Pokemon don't have to (mainly Gabby, Gwin, and Hafren - none who are level 100, and the last who is especially low level comparatively). With his fire and fighting specialties, no doubt he'll be be able to down the opposing Absol and Magneton easily.

Grindy is the other half of the tank duo, being level 99 and full of murderous intent. He helps shore up any of Dean's weaknesses. This is especially true towards the Wigglytuff, who will hopefully be stuck in a song-off against Gwin, and thus may be susceptible towards Grindy trying to down them with a Guillotine. If not, that's fine - Wide Guard is also there for him to help defend his companions, plus various other damaging moves for the offensive.

Gabby is getting up there in terms of level as well, and the Miltank's fearsome Rollout is never to be underestimated against her enemies!

Meanwhile, Hafren is the lowest level Pokemon here by far, only in the 30s in terms of level, but that isn't stopping her from providing backup. As she's protected by Grindy and Dean, she uses various special and status moves like Growl, Tail Whip, Will-o-Wisp, and Hex.

A team bull rush like this isn't exactly fair, but neither is whatever the HELL these people have done to their Pokemon. So, you know. Dimitri doesn't feel that scum deserve fair.

Give him your Pokemon, buddy, he'll take care of them right
