Some monsters seems to be well represented across worlds, some less so. Maybe I should do a larger survey to see what creatures are common and which are unique.
As far as those weekends go, I have a similar experience with my mutations. I'm not sure how they could be suppressed so completely all the rest of the time, though I guess you could just call it magic and that's as good an answer as any.
Do the cats have a particular number of extra eyes, and is it related to their inherent magic? Cats in my realm passively absorb magical energy from the environment, though no one really knows what they do with it. Can see through invisibility, though.
