So, I was wondering - what's something from your world that's been really weird to find out isn't universal? For example, I'm a werewolf and I've been kind of surprised by how many worlds we apparently don't exist in. It's a weird feeling.

Related, is cats having extra eyes a thing where you're from or not, asking for both me and my boyfriend.

Oh, yeah - my world has different planes of reality, but I'd guess that's different from the kinds of alternate realities you're thinking of?

Quite possibly. But not necessarily? I'm not anywhere near an expert but a new reality can be created by something as small as a decision that could be made different ways. And is, in the two different realities that spawn from those different decisions. Or they can be as disparate as planets and galaxies and entire sentient species being absent, or all but unrecognizable from one's point of view.

There are a great many more in depth explanations that probably have nuance I'm missing, but you'd have to ask Slav. He's the unchallenged expert in the field.

Oooh, yeah? So that's the kind of thing that's getting more into theoretical physics where I'm from than stuff we've actually for sure encountered. Neat! Our different planes are more the product of each one's natural magic being slightly different, and affecting how life developed there.
