woah! that sounds really cool! i had powers kind of like that back in my world too, but they weren't very common. it sounds like i would have been an air bender, though my actual title was heir of breath. my other friends had powers too, but none of them really sound like water benders or anything like that. maybe like... a time bender? a space bender? did you have people like that?
