First… Glow? [Video]
[So… you know Route 31, right? Nice quiet forest path, cute little pond, entrance to Dark Cave… way too many ledges?
A couple of days after the Snorunt leave their blessings (or “blessings,” in some cases…), the PokéGear feed will open up to… a yelp! A young, very feminine, oh-so dignified yelp, and a camera showing lots of rolling dirt, grass, trees, a rock or two, flashes of the winter noon sky, and occasionally a ball of pink coat and LONG moon white curls! (Hopefully no one in the audience has a fear of heights or vertigo.)
Thankfully, the fall only lasts a few seconds, and the audio of a groan after a few seconds lets everyone know both the PokéGear and its owner still function. Well, at least the camera does. The bad news… well, when Allura attempts to inspect device, everyone gets a good look at her mud-splattered face, AND at least three small branches jammed into her hair!]
Oh no, please don’t be broken!

video;
Are you all right!
[Of course, he's going to jump on this. It's immediate. Maybe a little bit of an over-reaction, but... well. Forgive him.]
no subject
[Aaaand of course it has to be a video to multiple people. Poor Shiro, though.]
Yes, Shiro, I'm fine. [A light shake of her head.] I'd be more worried about myself than the device if I was injured.
[.... I mean, it's true now that they're not in a war zone, buuuuut...]
no subject
Sorry. Right, I - guess you never really stop worrying about sudden videos like that.
[He'll compose himself, though. Pushing his hand through his hair.]
What happened?
no subject
[Awww Shiro... She sighs and tries to smile despite the frustration.]
I'm all right, Shiro. [So is he.] And not much. I was chasing after Kirlos when he wandered off and apparently didn't look down fast enough.
[And look, the little Swablu takes his cue to perch on her head, completely unscathed. "Blublu~~~"]
no subject
[No, seriously.]
You've got to start taking better care of your trainer. She's your partner.
[... clearly intended for the Swablu.]
no subject
[Oof... the chick starts sinking into its floof. "Swablu..." Yessir...]
Oh, it's all right, Kirlos... [She reaches up with her free hand to give the cloud birb a little scritch.] You've learned. It's honestly rare for him to be this energetic. Playing with the Snorunt yesterday must have given him extra energy.
[... YUP. Those guys. Again.]
no subject
[But then his face does a thing. You know the thing. The Oops Thing.]
... the. Snorunt?
no subject
[… Well. Allura rates that worry about a 5 on the scale from 1 to Slav.]
I take it you’re familiar?
no subject
Just a little bit.
no subject
Lovely... I suppose the part about good fortune is greatly exaggerated?
no subject
No, it is not. None of their fortunes are exaggerated.
no subject
Wonderful... Have you seen any, Shiro?
no subject
[He hasn't really noticed the Bad Luck issue yet. Why would he hide anything about the snorunt from Allura?]
Thought I'd show them the telescope at the observatory. It did not go well.
no subject
Oh no... please tell me they didn't break anything.
no subject
None of them wanted to share.
no subject
Ancients... Well, that will be one Pokémon I won't be catching.
[RIP potential Froslass.]
no subject
At least, I hope not.
no subject
Point... [She's learned her lesson about not painting all members of a species with the same brush, thanks, Keith....] Still, it will likely be under specific circumstances. If they're usually this fickle, that would likely make them difficult to train.
[Meanwhile, CLEARLY Coressa is the superior ice Pokémon! ... Along with Europa. And Acxa, Thace's Ninetales. Acxa is GOALS.]
no subject
Like Haunter, for example. It's nothing like the descriptions of other Gengar.
1/3
Really?
[Let's pull up the Pokédex real quick--]
2/3
[Oh. .... Oh dear sweet Ancients yeah, Haunter does NOT do that at all, and BOY is Allura grateful for that.]
3/3
S-so I see...~ How interesting...~
no subject
It's okay - Haunter has never been... normal. According to the dex. It's even helped out when other ghosts start making trouble.
no subject
That's good of it. [A slight smile.] It seems it was matched well with a good trainer.
[Always looking out for others, both of them.]

Had a whole little production and everything.
