Ah, all pokemon produce eggs, actually, though how precisely that works is a question no one's been able to answer. And breeding isn't limited to individuals of the same species, either; they can crossbreed with others to various extents. The offspring will always be the same species of one of the two parents, most often the mother. There's more to it of course, but as you catch more, you'll be able to see for yourself.
