But it's obvious, isn't it? The main characters are the ones who have something exciting happening in their story, while everyone else live their own lives. Which would mean then that when they have their own interesting moments that would make them the main characters of their own stories, the ones who were before are now just like those side characters before.

So no one's life is exciting all the time, in other words.
