I see we have a new contest eagerly approaching us. How very spectacular!

[The video shows Shadowmaru in his... closet. If you could call it that. It's more like a repurposed spare room. His Type: Null is also visible, calmly sitting like a Null Loaf in a corner. Every so often... it shivers. And glitter sheds all over the floor.]

Therefore! It is, once again, my pleasure to offer my services to you all. Should you require costuming, look no further!

[So saying, he whisks something off a hanger, displaying it for the camera. Of course it's purple.]

I have everything to ensure you stand out.

[Oh, okay, now Mando gets it, and he nods in understanding. Yeah, he's been known to go after the hard luck stories too.]

You said you can help with costuming. Are you able to make a cape?

[If he can't have his armour, then by god, he's going to have a cape!]

[A pause. Shadowmaru taps his chin, other hand on his hip in thought.]

I believe I have some capes... I, unfortunately, am not terribly skilled with alterations, but I should have a variety of bases to go from.

If you have some bases, I can help with the sewing.

[Never let it be said that the domestic arts are beneath a Mandalorian.]

Do you have any in black?

Mmm, black, no. Bases, yes. A moment...

[He'll duck off screen and rummage around. While Oberon stares down the camera. Helmet and all. One single shiver of glitter.]

[Then Shadowmaru is back! With a purple cape - but, hey, at least it's very... very dark purple.]

As close as I posses, I'm afraid.

[Oh, Oberon wants a stare-down, does he? Mando is happy to oblige! Since the Pokemon sheds some glitter, Mando assumes things are going well.]

That'll work.

[It's not ideal, but it's dark enough to pass for black in the right light.]

Where do I pick it up?

[Yep, glitter is a sign all is well. Or something. Maybe.]

I currently reside in Olivine, though I am capable of transporting myself. I can meet you in nearly any city.

[Mando's transport options are still limited.]

[A pause as Mando examines Oberon in the background.]

Can you bring Oberon with you? I'd like to meet him.

Oh?

Yes, I don't see why not. It might do the poor creature some good to make new friends.

Good. I'll find a place to meet and send you the address.

[And what kind of place will Mando find? The grossest, dingiest dive bar possible, of course! It's not that they're doing anything illicit, but old habits die hard.]

[Shadowmaru is on time, because of course he is. However, when he walks through the front door... takes a look around... Looks down at his outfit.]

[He walks right back out again.]

[When he returns, it's with a more. Appropriate accessory. And a beefy Venipede at his heel. Oberon, of course, is there too, but is slightly less intimidating than the big bug glowering at everyone.]

[Mando appreciates a man who keeps his word and shows up on time, and he starts to get up when Shadowmaru comes in. The outfit doesn't bother him in the slightest; hey, if he's into Twi'lek fashions, Mando isn't going to question it. Twi'leks are good people!]

[But then Shadowmaru walks out, and Mando settles back into his seat. Maybe he was mistaken?]

[When Shadowmaru returns, he's dressed like Skywalker, and Mando smiles under his helmet. Yeah, okay, maybe the Twi'lek outfit wasn't the best choice. The Skywalker one blends in much better here.]

[Mando stretches out a hand to Oberon.]

I have some berries with me. Can I share them?

[He has enough for the giant bug too!]

[He does a dramatic little bow as he strolls up for real. Sort of flicking the cape as he walks. All for effect. Oberon just sort of stands there. Its head slowly canting to one side. It sees that hand. Does it want to interact? Is that acceptable?]

Go right ahead. It can be rather shy, but food may very well win it over.

[Venipede on the other hand, has no such compunctions. Trundling forward to stare at Mando. Um? Hello? Food?]

Don't worry, big guy, I've got some for you, too.

[Since the Venipede is being more insistent, Mando offers it a berry. He doesn't stand up, but reaches up to the Pokemon to pass it over. Maybe if Oberon sees the other Pokemon take one, he'll be less shy?]

What kind of Pokemon are you?

[He asks the bug, while fully expecting Shadowmaru to answer.]

[Venipede pounces. On the berry, thankfully - chittering to itself as it goes to town.]

A Venipede. One of few of mine who enjoy combat.

[And that's probably why it's so swole. Oberon fidgets. Then inches forward. Politely requesting a berry, sir.]

[Mando pulls his hand back from the Venipede; he doesn't think the bug would bite him, but he'd rather not take any chances.]

He's impressive.

[With Oberon creeping forward, Mando gets another berry and offers it to him on the flat of his palm.]

Here you go. I picked it this morning.

[Venipede collects the berry in its jaws, and then proceeds to roll up into a ball to devour it.]

I suppose. I have my concerns regarding him...

[Mostly because of how much Veni loves battling. Oberon though... gingerly plucks the berry out of Mando's palm and then hunkers down like a Null-Loaf with it.]
