I was thinking today how it's been a while since I've posted anything like this. Or really talked to you guys without it being something like...a malfunction or an accident, so!

I wanted to ask, whether or not you've been here for a long time or just got here, do you have a favorite Pokemon?

I guess it's kindof predictable for me to say my starter is my favorite, but I do really like Eevee a lot. They're a very versatile Pokemon, a good choice for any trainer since they can become so many different things depending on your tastes.

I'd love to hear what everyone else's opinions are.

Oh! I haven't seen that one before, okay. Foongus...kindof like fungus, then.

And yeah! Grass type Pokemon, which the mushrooms usually are, are really common. They're very cool too, I like them a lot. Breloom is cool because it's not just a mushroom, it's like...I would almost compare it to a kangaroo kindof? It becomes part fighting type, and it has a really strong punch.

Oh yeah? That sounds pretty handy to have on a team! I'll have to keep an eye out for a Shroomish of my own then.

As far as I know they're pretty common, so it shouldn't be too hard for you to find one.

Have you been around for any of the swarms yet? That's how I caught my Breloom.

I don't think I have? Or I haven't noticed yet. Buuuut I'm guessing it's numbers of Pokemon showing up more than usual?

Yep! Not just numbers, but they'll show up in places they can't usually be found. And when they say "swarm", they do mean it. They'll be all over the region in what feels like just a couple hours.

Really? Wow, I wonder what causes it? That must be a HUGE number of Pokemon!

I'm not entirely sure myself, but it might have something to do with the weather? Or, maybe it's a migration thing?

I'm curious now, so I'll have to ask around sometime. I'm sure people have documented it.

Huh! That's pretty neat, actually. I wish I were better with animals, or I'd kinda be tempted to look into it.

Well she MEANS well at first and kinda messes up but she learns a lot about the different cave critters along the way anyway.

Oh man, she sounds like she'd be right at home in a place like this. The good news though, is that you don't have to be an animal person to do well here. Pokemon just manage to worm their way into your every day life in a way that feels natural. It'll be second nature before you know it!

Ohh, yeah I've been noticing that! I already don't know where I would've been without Matt my Growlithe around. He's almost like well having my best friend around.

Aw, that sounds nice...I'm glad to hear it. Honestly I could say the same about Mighty...he means a lot to me, even if he is a little troublemaker.

Heh yeah, I know the feeling! I've got a couple friends like that back at the Rock, much less any of my Pokemon here.
