I have a question for people who've been here long enough to travel around or have been traveling, maybe something to think about after all the Braviary craziness we just had a week or so ago:

Is there anything here that reminds you of home? Forests, cities, beaches, anything. Even the food.

Ilex Forest reminds me a little of Miyagi, and the trees around Sendai. So do the buildings, they're a lot like the ones you'd see around Japan. A lot of the food too, now that I think about it.

[In not so many words, Tooru's homesick, but he refuses to admit to that. It's also why he's typing it out instead of enthusiastically choosing video or voice. Besides, he is just a bit curious about the other worlds after Corrin told him about Hoshido.]

Hey! I'm from Japan too! I'm from Chiba so some of the beaches in Sevii remind me a lot of there. If you ever end up in Goldenrod or Celadon they have a magnet train!

You're thinking about home a lot, huh?

In all honesty, it is not something so specific as what you mentioned, but the unspecific that reminds me of the home I left behind. Much of this reality feels as though it was conctructed from the barest echo of a memory of what my people valued.

The peaceful nature of it all, the unity, not to mention the fanaticism over these creatures. It is all similar, yet dissimilar. Enough to inspire the vaguest traces of nostalgia, yet never enough to truly feel like home.

With the mention of Japan, would it be remiss of me to assume you are from Earth?

Ghosts, huh? Your world some kind of place where they're common?

Goldenrod is where Iwa-chan and I are on our way to. I was there when the Braviary swarmed, but I didn't see much of the city before going back to Azalea.

That place you come from, you said it's similar yet not. What's it like? Sounds like an interesting place if it's both similar and not to make you feel like that.

The sea. I suppose that's fairly similar everywhere, though.

It has always been rather curious to me that so many come from some version of Earth, as opposed to other worlds in their singular iterations.

As for my world, I would liken it to a paradise, where war and strife were more concepts for a good story, than a reality lived. We were a people driven and united by our curiosity and creativity, our love of knowledge, our desire to make the planet better than when we took our first steps upon it. To leave it ready for new generations embarking upon their journey into this life, so that they might continue this work, this ideal.

We were artists, philosophers, scientists, and we so loved our world and our creations. The creatures that filled our star were of our own make, and much as there are those here who find their own pointed fixations on certain Pokémon, so too were there popular concepts among our people.

A rather large difference betwixt this world and mine, however, is that magic was not limited to the creatures. All were possessed of such fantastical ability, though to limited and varied degrees depending upon the individual, of course.

Azalea is fun! The Slowpokes there make it seem so chill! Great fishing! Did you see the news about Old Balls? Kurt who makes them is there!

Oh yeah? It'd be nice to see others from Japan. He wasn't in Goldenrod with me, but I helped take one down with two others. It was huge, scratched up my arm too.

The slowpoke are cute little guys! And yeah I saw the news, and grabbed a couple of them from him. Dunno if I'm gonna catch a Rowlet with one yet. The name of the ball is uhh.. something though.

Sounds like a good match! You did it!!! You sound kinda new too? That's one hell of an introduction! How long have you been here?

If you collect any of Kurt's balls you're gonna find out he only gives them one name. Simple man. He's a real master at crafting balls. I'll give you a real tip here by saying nobody crafts and handles balls like him! So take advantage of Kurt's balls while you're there in Azalea if you can! Buy em or find some apricots nearby.

Actually, since you're in the area, could I give you some money to get me like a handful of Kurt's specialized balls? Like maybe half a dozen.

Some of the Pokemon, I guess. Mostly some of the ghosts? But I've also found a goddamned unicorn here, so that's a thing.

Not much, actually. But that is not such a bad thing considering the world I come from. I suppose the forests would be closest. Some of them do remind me of the forest near to where I grew up or the ones we trained in.

For the most part, the food seems to be most familiar. There are some oddities, however that is the adventure flair, is it not?

To be honest, some of the Pokemon themselves remind me of home. I've found a couple that actually remind me of my friends' pets back in my world.

Mt. Moon

Nothing else has reminded me of home like Mt. Moon does. I think if... I could reasonably set up a home there, I probably would.

I can't imagine what being dead was like, but being alive is good.

I've been here since early January, the cute little snow hat guys were around. So I'd say I'm pretty new here still.

I've noticed, it's unfortunate he gave them such a name, but I guess old guys are like that. I'll have to pick some up, they're pretty nice looking.

And, uh yeah, sure I can pick up a few for you. I don't mind.

That's the nice thing about the sea though, reminds us all of home. What was it like back home? The sea, I mean.

You're the second person to say the ghosts remind them of home. I guess people come from spookier places than I'd thought!

Wait, a unicorn? Is it white, light purple, and teal? With a dark purple horn?
