Kaiba is really not the best at comforting upset people just yet, but Kingyoku is! Unfortunately, the Goomy is a little slimy. He splashes his way over toward Marik, gives him the big ol' sad eyes...and tries to nuzzle his hand. Sorry about that.

"King---" Kaiba reaches to reel him in, but he's still focused on what Marik is saying. He takes a slow breath, trying to think of something to say that isn't so...bleak.

"If that world really is as friendly as you say...someone could've found him and taken him in. Believe it or not, even I wouldn't kick a lost puppy."
