Yes. His name was Newt Scamander. He is someone I met here and who taught me a lot about magical animals and taking care of them. That's what he did in his own world, so I suppose it was very natural for him to treat pokemon the same way he did magical animals back home. When he heard about the issues Lapras were dealing with, he immediately started up a breeding project. He always cared so much about helping animals -- any kind of animal. Even the kinds many other people might consider scary or dangerous.
