outofsynth: (so mystic and soulful)

[Min stands awkwardly, comforting Echoes and trying to act like he can't hear Marik giving Usi a talking to. He might not understand what he's saying, but the tone is enough that he feels a little weird about it, not quite meeting Marik's eyes as he hands off the Noibat.

Thankfully, Chen plays the part of big brother perfectly. His reassurance makes a world of difference, and Echoes is considerably more cheerful by the time they reach the booth. Apparently he is just as easily soothed as he is upset.]

Thanks, Chen.

[It's a relief to see him perk up again. It isn't fair on Marik to have to hold onto a fussy baby, but it's not like he can keep hold of him and shoot a gun even if it's not real.

Although... now he's hoping he didn't oversell his skills. It's been a while, and while he's okay at carnival games he's definitely not a sharpshooter or anything. It's 4 shots for a pokédollar, and luckily Min's still pretty set on using physical currency where he can so they don't need to make any diversions to get change.

He slots in a coin to release one of the BB guns, then lines it up carefully...

He takes his time between each shot, but even so only one of the four shots hits. That's embarrassing. At least it sounds like Echoes enjoyed watching the Murkrow fall, judging by his delighted cry. It's definitely a more tolerable pitch than when he's upset.]

Guess I'm not as good as I remember... I could still try and talk you through it if you want a go.
