The drow sleeping in the bed next to him doesn't appear to move at all, but his feelings are made abundantly clear by how one of his pillows rises up of its own accord and hurls itself towards Jarlaxle.

"Be quieter about it," he all but commands.

Jarlaxle only laughs. "Ever grumpy as always, I see."

He ought to sleep. He is finally in a bed again, one that he can more or less claim as 'his.' But he is an elf again and the joy in this is enough that he does not think he could go to sleep once more if he tried.

Instead he sends his dancing lights to spinning.

"You are playing around with lights in a dark room and you expect me not to find such a thing irritating?" he says acerbically, finally giving in and sitting up to stare over at Jarlaxle.

Jarlaxle just beams at him, annoyingly.

"I can stop," he says, waving a hand. The dancing lights disappear. "But really, Kimmuriel, are you not pleased to have your powers back?"
