[A video on StaryuTube has gone viral within the last day. Posted by the official Legendary Seekers channel with the title NEW LEGENDARY DISCOVERY [REAL][NOT CLICKBAIT][WHAT ARE THEY HIDING], it seems to have generated all sorts of chatter on the network. Hmm....

The video opens with one of the lead legendary seekers, apparently unable to hide his enthusiasm. He stares straight into the camera, grinning widely. Apparently, this was a livestream VOD uploaded only a few short hours ago. His words come out all in one sentence with little variance in cadence, as if reading off a prompter.]

Hello, legendary seekers of the world! MynameisJacksonandI'm HERE-- [He points at the screen.] --to inform the world of an amazing NEW legendary with never-before seen footage and evidence gathered first hand by our intrepid field researchers! As you know, Kanto, Johto, and the Sevii Islands have been plagued by Orthworms over the past month, digging holes through buildings and the ground willy-nilly. It was, if I may under-exaggerate, a little disruptive to our day to day lives! But you know what else is disruptive? Having hackers invade your PC because you didn't protect it! That's why today's sponsor is--

[He pauses, squirming in his seat. Then, after a moment or two, throws his papers into the air and excitedly grabs the camera.]

Oh, screw the sponsor! Just roll the clip already!

[The feed switches to some dark, grainy footage of the tunnels, presumably from a handheld camera. The person holding the camera is breathing heavily, as if having exerted a considerable amount of effort to get here. Someone else is in front of the camera, illuminated by the cameraperson's lantern, wearing a safari hat and backpack.]

"Warn me next time we're going to go on an expedition that involves a mile-long sheer descent." [The cameraperson grumbles.]

"Oh, c'mon, you'll be fine. We've got, like, twelve escape ropes between us."

"That's not the point. You know climbing up is going to be harder than climbing down, right?"

[As the cameraperson talks, a strange echoing sound can be heard in the distance. The person in front stops, looking around carefully.]

"SHHH! Do you hear that?"

[The two of them fall silent, lanterns sweeping the nearby area. The light casts harsh shadows, creating strange shapes and making it difficult to see what lurks in the dark.]

"I didn't hear anything. Face it, there's nothing down here. Let's just turn around and get out--"

"HEY! POKÉMON! IF YOU'RE OUT THERE, COME GET ME!"

"Are you crazy?! Stop yelling!"

"Well, if there's nothing here, nothing's gonna happen to me, ri--"

[A loud, deafening roar that blows out the microphone suddenly shakes the camera and causes dirt and debris to fall upon the person in front. Panicked, indistinct yelling can be heard as the camera is pointed down at the ground and the two begin to run--but not before a silhouette is seen.]



[The feed freezes on this still frame, and the presenter continues to speak, a phone number flashing across the screen.]

If you'd like your character to explore the tunnels in depth for more evidence of this strange new Pokémon, reply below! We'll let you know what they find. There is no thread requirement for this.

This will not grant any special items, but you might find a funny-looking rock, or a weird hole that may or may not be a footprint. Maybe if you get lucky, you'll find actual evidence. Or maybe you'll just get mobbed by Diglett. But hey, at least it's a fun story to tell, right?

As a giant worm expert (tm), Vash is a little disappointed to have missed out on the Worm fun! So of course he's going to want to examine the tunnels! Maybe he'll find a friend in there! It could happen!

As Vash explores, he'll hear a distant, ominous howling. As he follows it, he'll end up getting hopelessly lost in the winding tunnels. However, after about an hour of wandering, he'll eventually find a very small Orthworm. Adorable! Looks like this one's a baby, and more than willing to help Vash dig his way out. Sadly, no evidence, but a friend was found.

As Eda explores, she'll see something moving out of the corner of her eye in an adjacent tunnel. The side tunnel is much smaller than the main one, which means she'll need to get on all fours and crawl through. However, as she gets halfway through, she'll stuck, a la Winnie the Pooh. Drat! She'll need her Pokémon's help (or someone else's assistance) to get out of there. Talk about some terrible luck!

What the HECK was that. Welp, brb, Doppio's stocking up on Escape Ropes before he investigates, but you BET he's investigating.

As Doppio explores, he'll hear some strange clanking and bellowing from deep in the tunnels. As he draws closer to it, the clanking and bellowing will become louder and louder, reverberating ominously, until--

Oh, sweet Arceus. There's a herd of Paldean Tauros that seem to have somehow gotten lost down there. They must have fallen down a hole and have also been wandering for some time, since they look scared and spooked. As soon as Doppio steps into view, they panic and stampede away, causing tremors and potential tunnel collapse. WATCH OUT!!!

(Maybe if he helps get them out of here, there'll be a very grateful farmer who'll give him one as a gift.)

After her recent Clodsire catch and barely escaping the Orthworm incident a month prior, Isabela will be very interested into investigating the tunnels because helping people out is a Madrigal thing.

Possibly even finding a friend or two if she can’t find a Legendary down there.

Listen, there is a tunnel right by Minfilias' home. Of course she's diving in to explore (and keep an eye out for Cool Rocks alongside the Pokemon.)

As Isabela explores, she'll spot something moving in the distance. As she gets closer, the ground beneath her gives way, and she falls into the chamber underneath--and right into a nest of Zubat! The Zubat are understandably freaked out by this sudden intrusion and swarm her, and Isabela will have to spend a few hours trying to make her way back up to the surface. Drat!

Harry didn’t expect to join in the tunnel search, but due to sheer bad luck, he falls into the tunnel and he will be like what’s going on in here?

As Minfilia explores, she might take a moment to set down her gear and rest. After all, it's pretty physically taxing to be wandering around aimlessly in structurally questionable tunnels. One moment, her bag is there, and the next moment, it's gone! She'll hear a villainous cackle as she spots a gang of Sableye making off with her supplies and disappearing into the shadows. It'll take a while to retrieve her bag from these thieving mischief-makers.

As Harry falls into the tunnel, he'll land directly into a huge pit of mud that seems to be occupied by a large number of Paldean and regular Quagsire. It's impossible to move in any direction except through forceful wiggling (which only results in one sinking deeper into the mud), which means that Harry might be stuck for a while if he doesn't get help. Not to mention the amount of laundry that he's going to have to do once he gets out.

Hey, at least he has company. The Quagsires are happy to share the mud pit with him.

Is it a smart idea to go in the hole? No, but Ryou's never been one for smart ideas and he finally got his new glasses so he can finally see what he's doing, so it's hole time!

Does Allura want to go down the hole again? No. Does she need to keep an eye on Shiro's busted shoulder in Keith's stead while HE rests his ankle? Apparently. Off she goes, NOT jumping down and taking proper equipment and a well-crafted team.

Hunter is going down. ...to get Eda out. But might as well look a bit on the way.

As Shiro explores, at first, it'll seem like a bust. The tunnels are dark and winding, and it's not clear if he's on the right path or not. Eventually, however, he'll stumble across some very interesting scratch marks running along the walls--something was here before! As he quickly glances around, he'll spot a large feather, about six inches long, red with a blue tinged tip. What on earth could this be?

As Ryou explores, he'll hear his PokéGear giving off annoying beeping and static noises. It's unclear where the beeping originates--he's not getting any notifications, after all--but it seems as though the static grows stronger the deeper he goes into the tunnels. The screen looks scrambled and it's impossible to make any calls, but soon, the source of the interference is found. What looks to be a large pile of of iron fillings can be found in the middle of a tunnel. You could probably gather it up in a pouch and show it off for evidence. What on earth could this be from?

As Luisa explores, chattering noise can be heard deeper in the tunnels. All of a sudden, a swarm of Diglett can be found burrowing past her--but they don't seem to care about attacking her. No, it seems as though they're fleeing from something! In its rush to flee, one of the Diglett smacks against a rock and stuns itself by accident. Out of the corner of her eye, Luisa can spot an indistinct silhouette with huge tusks. A bellowing sound shakes the entire tunnel, causing a partial collapse, and the silhouette disappears into the darkness...strange!

Somehow, despite preparing more than Shiro, Allura ends up in much more trouble him. Standing at a fork in the tunnels, Allura picks the wrong side and quickly finds herself in a Graveler nest. Displeased with this sudden intruder, the Graveler cut off her means of escape and attack her and her well-crafted team. When she's finally fought her way out, it seems as though the Graveler have re-dug the tunnel out of spite, and the way she entered is no longer the way out. Drat!

Hunter, thankfully, will find Eda easily enough and be able to rescue her. On his way down, he'll hear a strange, echoing screech that reverberates throughout the caverns. If he follows the sound, he'll stumble across what seems to be a tuft of soft, pink fur that has snagged on a jagged rock. What on earth could this be...?
