Greenhouses're a bit above most folks' paygrade, unfortunately... I'm not entirely sure how Hopeland's started -- it was already runnin' by the time I got taken in. It weren't too big, either. Not enough to feed all of us by itself, at least.

It's just that commodities like the materials t'grow yer own food end up far more costly than just buyin' it from someone or some business with... the means to produce it, as it were.
