Radley decides to check out the museum to learn more about Cyclizar racing. He wanders amid the impressive collection, studying it all as he ponders the thought of getting a Cyclizar.
This, of course, leads to him going out to the Stables to see what they're like up close and personal. He stays out of the way of anyone coming to borrow one and get to know them, but smiles and greets them all the same.
His beloved Evie is in his arms throughout all of this, looking at everything in fascination and calling cute warbling greetings to people and Pokemon alike. Radley makes sure to keep hold of her, knowing that she's likely to try to make friends with the Toedscool and doubting it would go well for her.
The Race
CW: An emotional meltdown due to a phobia of electrocution
Radley briefly considered entering the race, if for no other reason than to feel like he was on a motorcycle of sorts again. But he quickly abandoned that idea after really studying the creatures and especially seeing the mommy. Yeah, no.
But several people he cares about have decided to race, so he's there to watch them. He isn't surprised by the obstacles, but he's increasingly upset by them, and seeing the Pincurchin is pretty much the last straw. He is so relieved he didn't enter the race. But seeing his friends trying to deal with it and the very real possibility of them getting shocked is very difficult to handle. He is physically trembling, and if he wasn't so worried about them, he would get up and leave the scene. But he feels like that would be walking out on them, even though he of course can't do anything to help anyway. He struggles to make himself stay, cuddling sweet Evie for comfort. She snuggles him, worried.
