"Well..." Dimitri closes his eye for a moment, thinking carefully on the matter. When it comes to pride, the bridge can be fragile and difficult to cross. Both on the side of the Pokemon, and the trainer herself.

Still, he does have an idea, and he opens his eye again for a moment to glance between the two of them.

"It may depend on your own views, so I cannot say if it is a good solution just yet... But..." He looks back up to the Dragonite. "To have reached the stage of Dragonite out in the wilds, all on your own, is quite a feat, so I imagine you have a wealth of experience that you could offer. So, rather than a strict boundary between trainer and trained..." He glances back to the woman again. "What say you both to the idea of you working together as partners? Training together, thinking of how to help the others rise to their own potential? Because surely, someone who would dare go against a Dragonite must have potential, I would think."
