Riz has been keeping a watchful eye on the road leading up to the center (whenever he is not squinting at the Joys, that is) and the moment he spots Hiccup coming up the way, he properly ducks back into his coat again and heads outside. Considering what they are gonna talk about, Riz definitely doesn't want to do that anywhere near any potentially listening and very identical ears.

"There you are!"

Riz also absently notes that Hiccup sure is a lot taller in person than he is over the gear. Not that this is something unusual for Riz to deal with. At a bit under five feet, everybody here is taller than him. He just wasn't expecting him to be that tall, that's all.
