Event: The Reveal Glass

Across the Pokémon world, characters may have spotted a falling star last night. Or at least, one would think that's what it was: a naturally occurring phenomenon, rather than a legendary artifact. Specifically, the Reveal Glass fell to earth during a fight among a group of legendaries started by the return of a long-lost family member. But it's probably best to leave them to handle all that themselves, while your characters deal with other consequences.
The Reveal Glass shattered upon impact, and the shards scattered throughout Kanto, Johto, and the Sevii Islands… And made their way into the hearts of your characters. But bleeding isn't the concern here. Instead, the impact will hit when a character first looks into any reflective service. An eerie feeling hits them as they're transported to the Mirror Dimension.
While this realm can be many different things for different characters, one thing is always true: It is a place of honesty, where true selves are revealed. Those struck by a shard will find themselves facing truths they are no longer able to hide, and now must accept. Fortunately enough, even those who haven't been struck will be able to enter the Mirror Dimension during this event via a reflective surface to offer help. By the end of the 29th, things will return to normal. Characters will be back in the usual Pokémon world and their hearts will be rid of the shards, but time is strange in the Mirror Dimension, and the experience may feel like it goes on far longer than a day. Or, maybe that's just the emotional exhaustion.
The Reveal Glass plot is here. You can swing by the event info post for additional details and FAQ, and play out your characters’ enforced therapy on this post. As with most VR events, this plot is entirely optional and your characters don't need to take part at all.

[Jotaro gives a long, tired sigh and for a second he looks his actual age. He can relate, Duo.]
Do it alone but hurt them or do it together and risk them. There's no right answer for this sort of thing. Just think about it, that's all.

I can't stop them. They're good guys. They're gonna try to do the right thing regardless of the risk. I just... [He frowned.] Anyone who gets close to me dies. I guess I'm just tired of that.
[This was a huge admission. And, maybe, Duo felt okay saying it because this whole situation felt like a dream, like he wasn't actually talking to a real person right now. But, either way, it wasn't something he'd normally even come close to talking about, let alone openly admitting it to someone.]

Mmm... That feeling won't go away. Especially because there will always be good people in the world... and good people don't always survive. [Jotaro equally wouldn't admit the same in ordinary circumstances but it doesn't feel right if Duo is the only one admitting things like that... especially since he's clearly seen personally into Duo's life. Sharing seems only fair.] You know... I spent years distancing myself from my daughter but she ended up getting hurt still. Just because she was associated with me.

[So this guy understood. It was... not something he wished someone else to be able to understand... but, in a way, it was still kind of a comfort that he had someone who could relate.]
Sorry about your daughter.
[He was... honestly.]

For his part, Jotaro simply tips his hat to hide his face. It's hard to see against his black hat but a dark patch of blood is visible where he touched it. Jotaro always sees his hands covered in blood after all: the blood of his enemies, his allies and his daughter...]
... Yeah. She's... better now. I'm grateful that both of us get a second chance to live in the Pokemon World... But I blame myself still, hard to not when fighting got us both killed in the end.
...I found that she's still willing to be a family with me in spite of that. Even though I want to push her away here... It's better if she's nearby and has my back. And I know she feels the same way too. [Like how Duo's friends still want to be his friends and keep fighting despite the losses. It's tiring to worry about them... but their company... well...
It counts for something.]

[And it was comforting. If he thought about it, he knew his friends would be the same way... that, after all they've been through, it didn't matter. They were still friends. And they'd still fight beside each other.]
Thanks, man.
[That affirmation... reaffirmation... it was good to have.
And that helped the dream to move on...]
guess we can wrap up?
I'm Jotaro, if I didn't say so before. Come find me once we're out of this world. I'm always happy to lend an ear.
sounds good!
[And it all began to fade...]
